How it All Started
In a discussion with one of my closest friends, I realized I wanted something more. It brings together things I am passionate about. Writing. Great bits to read. Interviews with fascinating people. Wonderfully creative people….putting pieces together to create something fabulous. I think sex should be something fun….so the name is meant to bring about the light hearted approach…..
Pink Nighties is a quarterly ezine focusing on all sides of love and lust from the psychological to the physiological. We’re looking for inspired and inventive works, so please send us your love stories of candles and wine as well as your tales of lust from handcuffs and threesomes and more. Content will include poetry, short stories, flash fiction, serials, informational articles, opinion pieces, interviews of positive sex industry individuals, and reviews.
Staff
Editor in Chief & Founder: Deb Smouse
Deb Smouse loves to compartmentalize the pieces of her life in neat and tidy spots….only to feel inexplicable pleasure when she is given the opportunity to merge the pieces together. By Day, she is a self-employed consultant….but by night, she writes. She loves the way words come together to form sentences….and sentences become paragraphs. Short Story Editor: Samantha Haven
Samantha loves to study the human mind, heart and the body’s sexual organs. Thinking of the way a piece of chocolate melts on a tongue and oozes around teeth gets her typing fingers going. Samantha prefers bondage that involves silk scarves to handcuffs, and always baths in candlelight. She is on a literary quest to find the betwixt and between where fiction ends and erotica begins.
Non-Fiction Editor: Chauna Myles
Chauna Myles is a hopeless romantic. Her romanticism extends beyond near-perfect romantic relationships with just a hint of page-turning drama. She is an eternal optimist when it comes to the idea of living in a diverse, multicultural society where equality among ethnicities and the sexes is a staple. Not a dream.
An ideal relationship and an ideal society require growth and soul-searching on the part of its members. Perhaps that she is most intrigued by stories of people – particularly women – on a journey of self-discovery. Chauna’s fiction embraces diversity; features a heroine who has much to learn about who she is and plenty of sizzling-hot rendezvous. Her non-fiction writings embrace inclusion and a celebration of the unique beauty that every woman possesses.
